Delete your data

You can have everything we hold about you removed — your Author Tools account and library, or the records from advertising work we did for you — with one email. We complete deletion requests within two business days.
How to ask
Email malorie@thewritingwives.com with:
- Your name and the email address on your account, if you have one.
- The service: your Author Tools account, our Meta advertising work for you, or the mockup email list.
- What to delete: everything, or the specific items (a book, a reel, a set of ad reports).
We will reply to confirm what we found, delete it, and confirm again when it is done — within two business days of your email.
What gets deleted
- Author Tools account: your sign-in details, membership record, credit history, connector authorisations, everything in your library (uploads, generated pictures and clips, still ads), your books in the copy engine and all their notes and copy, and your reels.
- Advertising clients: your contact details and the performance reports and creative assets we hold for your campaigns. Your Meta ad account, and everything in it, is yours and stays with Meta; you can remove our access in Meta Business Manager at any time (Business settings → Partners), and we remove ourselves when our work ends.
- Mockup email list: your address is removed from the list. You can also unsubscribe from any email we send.
What we may keep
- Records we are required to keep by law, such as invoices for paid work, for as long as the law requires.
- Copies in backups, which are purged within 30 days.
- Anonymous, aggregate usage figures that no longer identify you.
- A note that you asked to be deleted, so we do not add you back by mistake.
Deleting things yourself
You do not need to email us for individual items. In Ad Video Studio you can delete any upload or generated picture or clip from your library, delete reels, and delete books from the copy engine; a manuscript EPUB is deleted automatically as soon as its read-through finishes. If you connected an AI assistant through our connector, you can revoke it from your account page.
